System Requirements

• SONAR 4
• JAWS 5.1 through 6.2. You can also install CakeTalking under JAWS 7.0 and although many customers have had success with it, we do not officially support it.

NOTES

• To install CakeTalking 4 into unsupported versions of JAWS you must click on the Options button in the Welcome dialog, enter the version identifier, '7.10' for example, in the Search for additional JAWS version field, click on the OK button and then finish the installation as usual.

WARNING

Unless you have already purchased CakeTalking for SONAR or intend to do so, do not download and install the installation program for CakeTalking. CakeTalking does not yet have a demo mode. Without proper authorization, CakeTalking will report that you do not have an authorized copy of CakeTalking and will close Cakewalk SONAR. You will be unable to use SONAR with JAWS until you uninstall CakeTalking.
