How to use the Peernet TIFF Image Printer to Convert PDFs to TIFs
Installing the Peernet TIFF Image Printer 12:
- Purchase the
Peernet TIFF Printer 12
but when you download it, don't run it yet and be aware of where you save it.
- Download and run the
Dancing Dots Peernet Configuration Installer.
- Run the Dancing Dots Peernet Configuration Installer which will ask you to specify the
Peernet TIF Image Printer download from the first step.
- Follow the installer's directions.
Modifying the Peernet TIFF Image Printer Configuration:
If you have an older version of the TIFF Image Printer, you can follow
Using Peernet's TIFF Image Printer (9.0) with SharpEye
or at least get the general idea of what is needed.
You can also download and manually install this
Peernet TIFF Printer 12 profile that we made especially for SharpEye:
Right-click and select Save link as.
Instructions for Using the Peernet TIFF Image Printer:
- Open your PDF in any PDF reader.
- Select Print (probably from the File menu).
- Select the Peernet TIFF Image Printer as your printer.
- Click on Print.
- A Save dialog will then be opened where you can specify the folder and name of your image files.
You will then be asked for a name and where to save your image files.
Be aware of the folder where the files are going;
this is a typical step where people "lose" their files.
The Peernet TIFF Image Printer will use the name you specify and add page numbers so
you will have a file for every page.
For example, if your PDF has 3 pages, you will end up with 3 files whose names would
be something like YourSong_001.tif, YourSong_002.tif, and YourSong_003.tif.
