Lime 7 Overview (Movie and Descriptive Text)

Here is the script for this overview of Lime:

  • (Lime is already running and we are picking up the action where the SharpEye overview left off.)
  • Click on OK to accept the default import options in the Import NIFF dialog.
  • Name the part:
    • Click on the first note or rest of the piece. (Because the first note is already selected (it's flashing), this step is actually unnecessary but it is a good practice.)
    • Open the Parts and Voices dialog with the Voice | Parts and Voices... menu item.
    • Select the only voice (Part_1), click on the Rename... button and enter Guitar and click on OK
    • Click on OK to close the Parts and Voices dialog.
  • Add a title
    • Click on the first note or rest of the piece. (Because the first note is already selected (it's flashing), this step is actually unnecessary but it is a good practice.)
    • Click on A on the right side of the piano window.
    • Click on Helpers | Title in the piano window.
    • Enter the title and then press OK.
  • Add a double bar at the end (Let's pretend it's the end of the piece).
    • Click on the last note (or rest) of the piece.
    • Open the Bar Line dialog with the Symbol | Bar Line menu item.
    • Select the heavy double bar line and At End of System.
    • Click on OK to close the Bar Line dialog.
  • Change the double bar that we just added back to a single bar.
    • Click on the last note (or rest) of the piece.
    • Open the Bar Line dialog with the Symbol | Bar Line menu item.
    • Select a simple single bar line (note that it's checked by default.) and select At End of System.
    • Click on OK to close the Bar Line dialog.
  • Save the Lime file with the File | Save menu item.
  • Launch GOODFEEL with the File | Launch GOODFEEL menu item.
